each year on the first Tuesday of November and is the �carnivale� centrepiece of the Melbourne Cup Carnival. The 10-race program may
begin at 10.30am but the fun starts well before then with traditional car-boot breakfast parties, live entertainment and roving
entertainers helping to create the festive atmosphere which makes this more than just a horse race. But it is the race which brings
everything at the track (and in every corner of the nation) to a stop at 3.10pm. Your first experience of this unique event will
stay with you forever.
