Hungarian GP - Warm-up Session:

David Coulthard sets the fastest time in the warm-up ahead of Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. Ralf Schumacher, Mika Hakkinen and Jarno Trulli make the top 6. Heidfeld, Panis, Raikkonen and Irvine make the top 10.

30 min: Mika Hakkinen improves but remains in 5th place.

30 min: Final lap for those on the track.

29 min: Fisichella moves from 22nd to 14th with a time of 1:19.704.

28 min: David Coulthard goes fastest with a time of 1:16.915!

26 min: Barrichello improves but remains in 2nd while Ralf Schumacher moves into 4th ahead of Hakkinen.

26 min: Fisichella in 22nd is clearly in problems!

25 min: 5 minutes to go. Drivers are preparing for their final run.

24 min: Raikkonen takes 8th from Irvine.

23 min: Villeneuve moves into 11th place with a time of 1:19.554

22 min: Button moves into 18th place on his first timed lap. Montoya has covered the most number of laps so far with 12.

21 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, Coulthard, Hakkinen, Trulli, R Schumacher, Panis, Irvine, Heidfeld and Montoya.

20 min: Michael Schumacher retakes first place with a time of 1:17.338.

19 min: Irvine improves to 8th.

18 min: Eddie Irvine takes 10th with a time of 1:19.702

17 min: Juan Pablo Montoya moves into 9th with a time of 1:19.465

17 min: Interestingly, Alesi and Frentzen are very close. 12th and 13th at the moment.

16 min: Barrichello takes the top spot with a 1:17.572. Coulthard improves but drops to second behind Barrichello.

15 min: Ralf Schumacher moves into 6th place ahead of Panis. Montoya is way back in 16th at the moment.

14 min: All the drivers have now set a timed lap except for Jenson Button. Once again there seems to be a problem with his Benetton.

13 min: Top 10 - Coulthard, M Schumacher, Barrichello, Hakkinen, Trulli, Panis, Heidfeld, Irvine, R Schumacher and Raikkonen.

13 min: Coulthard takes the top spot with a time of 1:17.828.

12 min: Ralf Schumacher and David Coulthard on the track. Michael Schumacher goes to the top of the timesheets with a time of 1:17.857.

11 min: Hakkinen now tops the timesheets with a 1:18.657 while Trulli moves into second with a 1:18.741.

10 min: Barrichello goes fastest with a time of 1:20.764. 

10 min: Jacques Villeneuve goes third with a time of 1:22.638.

9 min: Montoya goes second behind Heidfeld with a time of 1:21.399. Michael Schumacher on track.

8 min: Nick Heidfeld is the first to set a timed lap with a 1:21.268. Alesi clocks a 1:23.183.

7 min: More drivers are on the track with Frentzen, Montoya, Alonso, de la Rosa.

6 min: Verstappen, Fisichella and Hakkinen follow.

5 min: Jean Alesi is the first to go back out on the track for his first run.

4 min: Coulthard finally makes it out on the track.

2 min: All the cars have now gone out on the track with the exception of Coulthard. Alonso makes his way back to the pits and the others follow.

1 min: Those with spare cars allocated to them will come back and take the spare for a lap for a system check.

Michael Schumacher dominated Qualifying yesterday and set a time almost 3.5 seconds faster than the Pole time of 2000. He was also 0.8 seconds faster than David Coulthard in second place. Michael expects the gap to be much closer in race trim. This session will give us some indication of the speed advantage Ferrari will have during the race. Session starting in 10 minutes
