45 min: Montoya takes second with a time of 1:23.477. That is still 0.3 seconds slower than Michael. 

45 min: Hakkinen improves to 6th, de la Rosa 9th.

44 min: Jarno Trulli in 2nd!

43 min: Final run in preparation for Qualifying. Montoya and Michael on the track on new tyres!

42 min: Jarno Trulli in 5th!

41 min: Ralf Schumacher takes 3rd from Coulthard with a 1:23.917

40 min: Fisichella takes 10th with a time of 1:24.683

39 min: Mika Hakkinen improves into 9th place with a time of 1:24.658

38 min: Nick Heidfeld goes 5th with a time of 1:24.418

36 min: Kimi Raikkonen moves into 6th place

34 min: Michael Schumacher goes fastest with a time of 1:23.178!

31 min: The 2 Minardi's are clearly in trouble with both Alonso and Yoong with any timed laps.

30 min: The lap times here don't seem to have dropped significantly compared to last year. The fastest time so far is under a tenth faster than the fastest time during this session last year!

29 min: Montoya takes 5th back while Trulli takes 8th from his team-mate.

28 min: Top 10 - Barrichello, M Schumacher, Coulthard, R Schumacher, Heidfeld, Montoya, de la Rosa, Alesi, Trulli and Hakkinen.

27 min: Alesi in problems heading back to the pits slowly!

26 min: Pedro de la Rosa moves into 6th place!

25 min: David Coulthard takes 3rd from Ralf Schumacher. Hakkinen in 8th.

24 min: David Coulthard moves into 4th with a time of 1:24.366. Only the 2 Ferrari's have set times under the 1:24 mark.

23 min: Ralf Schumacher has an off but recovers and pits. He is currently in 3rd place.

22 min: Villeneuve moves into 7th place with a time of 1:25.258. Michael moves up two into second place.

21 min: He moves straight into 4th place!

20 min: Michael Schumacher appears on the track - finally!

19 min: Frentzen moves into 10th place while his team-mate Tomas Enge is in 19th place.

18 min: Barrichello goes fastest and Ralf Schumacher moves into second place.

16 min: Rubens Barrichello moves into second place under a tenth behind Montoya
