Austrian GP - Warm-up Session

Final Order: Rubens Barrichello, Michael Schumacher, Felipe Massa, Heinz Harald Frentzen, Nick Heidfeld and Enrique Bernoldi make the top 6.
Coulthard, Villeneuve, Raikkonen, Irvine, Panis, Fisichella, Button, R Schumacher, Sato, de la Rosa, Trulli, Montoya, Webber, Salo, McNish, Yoong make the rest of the field. 

30 min: Frentzen moves into 4th ahead of Nick Heidfeld. 

30 min: Michael Schumacher improves but remains in second only 0.019 behind Rubens! 

30 min: Final lap ... 

29 min: Ralf Schumacher improves again moving into 13th. Montoya is back in 18th at the moment. 

28 min: Arrows appear very strong on this track. Bernoldi just split the 2 Saubers taking 4th. 

27 min: Nick Heidfeld takes 4th from Bernoldi. The top 6 are Bridgestone runners again! 

26 min: Ralf Schumacher finally moves from the back and sets a 1:13.994 placing him in 17th. 

25 min: Bernoldi takes 4th from his team-mate while Raikkonen moves into 6th becoming the best Michelin runner. 

24 min: Meanwhile Ralf Schumacher who is starting alongside Barrichello is in 22nd!  

23 min: Rubens Barrichello moves back into 1st with a time of 1:10.876. Stunning lap time. 

23 min: Felipe Massa takes 3rd from Frentzen. Barrichello flying! 

22 min: Eddie Irvine takes 6th from Villeneuve. He could be running a light(er) fuel load. 

21 min: Villeneuve seems to have found the right set-up as he moves back into 6th place with a time of 1:13.188. Jenson Button is the best Michelin runner at the moment in 7th place. 

20 min: M Schumacher, Barrichello, Frentzen, Bernoldi, Massa, Irvine, Button, de la Rosa, Trulli and Raikkonen. 

19 min: Michael Schumacher moves back into 1st place with a time of 1:11.477. Frentzen moves into 3rd! 

18 min: Ralf Schumacher is struggling. He is back in 21st place with a time of 1:15.621. Michael on another flyer. 

18 min: Enrique Bernoldi takes 3rd with a time of 1:12.717. 

17 min: Barrichello retakes the top spot with a time of 1:11.687. Barrichello looks faster than Michael here. Montoya sets the 12th fastest time. 

16 min: Michael Schumacher tops the time with a 1:12.026. Webber sets a time of 1:15.077 in 19th. 

15 min: Mark Webber and Juan Pablo Montoya have yet to set a time. 

15 min: Barrichello improves again with a 1:12.355. Only the top 3 have set times in the 1:12's 

14 min: Top 10 - Barrichello, M Schumacher, Massa, Irvine, Button, Trulli, Villeneuve, Bernoldi, Coulthard and Heidfeld. 

13 min: But Rubens takes the lead now with a 1:12.411. 

13 min: Michael tops the timesheets with a 1:12.525. 

12 min: Rubens Barrichello goes second with a 1:13.465. Michael on a flyer! 

11 min: And Irvine takes it back with a 1:13.277 

11 min: Jacques Villeneuve retakes the top spot with a 1:13.566. 

10 min: Eddie Irvine moves to the top with a 1:13.976.  

9 min: David Coulthard tops the timesheets with a 1:14.281. Takuma Sato takes 4th with a 1:15.844. 

8 min: Villeneuve again improves with a 1:14.313. Several drivers about to set lap times! 

8 min: Ralf Schumacher improves with a 1:15.621. 

7 min: Ralf Schumacher sets a time of 1:15.847. Villeneuve improves to 1:14.448.

6 min: As the temperatures are cold, expect the Bridgestone runners to dominate this session.

5 min: Villeneuve improves to a 1:16.218. Salo, Fisichella and Ralf Schumacher start their flying laps.

4 min: Jacques Villeneuve who has been struggling all weekend stays out on the track and sets a time of 1:18.889.

3 min: Drivers with spare cars are taking them for an installation lap. Yoong is also on the track.

1 min: All the cars have gone out on the track with the exception of Alex Yoong!

Session underway and the cars stream out of the pit lane with Salo at the front of the pack.

The latest weather forecast for the race is for a 40% chance of showers. If it does indeed rain then Williams chances will be very slim as the Michelin tyres aren't competitive in the wet or even cold conditions. Session starting in 2 minutes

Yesterday Rubens Barrichello won Pole convincingly after Michael Schumacher struggled with his car. The Williams managed to close the gap to the Ferraris but only at higher track temperatures. Session starting in 5 minutes
