Final Order - Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, Juan Pablo Montoya, Ralf Schumacher, David Coulthard and Felipe Massa make the top 6.
Fisichella, Panis, Heidfeld, Sato, Bernoldi, Villeneuve, Raikkonen, Salo, Button, Frentzen, Trulli, de la Rosa, Irvine, McNish, Webber and Yoong make the rest of the field.

45 min: Barrichello goes off on his last lap of the session!. He hits the barrier but no major damage.

45 min: Montoya retakes 3rd with a time of 1:15.893.

44 min: Yoong improves again and sets a time that is just within the 107% time of Michael's.

44 min: Ralf Schumacher takes 3rd back with a time of 1:16.020. 

43 min: Montoya moves into 3rd with a time of 1:16.192. Button spins on the track. Looks like a blown engine!. 

42 min: The 2 Jaguars are struggling at the moment. de la Rosa is in 18th followed by Irvine. Yoong improves in 22nd. Looks as if his times yesterday were set with low fuel loads! 

41 min: Under 5 minutes remaining in the session and at this stage 8 of the top 10 are on Bridgestone tyres!

40 min: Giancarlo Fisichella jumps into 6th with a time of 1:16.921.

39 min: David Coulthard improves again with a time of 1:16.818 and takes 4th.

38 min: Allan McNish has just improved his time in 20th place with a time of 1:18.156. That is much slower than his best time yesterday indicating low fuel running on Friday!

37 min: David Coulthard takes 5th from Panis with a time of 1:17.021.

36 min: Barrichello improves again but is still in second. Panis moves into 5th with a time of 1:17.065 and is the best Honda runner at this stage

36 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, R Schumacher, Heidfeld, Sato, Massa, Bernoldi, Montoya, Raikkonen and Coulthard.

35 min: Enrique Bernoldi moves into 7th with a time of 1:17.258.

34 min: Takuma Sato improves again and moves into 5th with a time of 1:17.094. Jordan and BAR are using the latest evolution Honda engine today.

33 min: And Ralf Schumacher improves his time in 3rd with a 1:16.319. He is now under a second off the pace!

32 min: Rubens Barrichello improves his time in second with a 1:15.470. That is only 0.133 seconds behind Michael.

31 min: Takuma Sato moves into 7th with a time of 1:17.426. Barrichello on a fast lap!

30 min: Enrique Bernoldi moves into 11th with a time of 1:17.736. Yoong improves in 22 with a time of 1:21.034. That is almost a second slower than his best time yesterday!

28 min: Jarno Trulli takes 14th from his team-mate Jenson Button with a time of 1:18.050

27 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, R Schumacher, Heidfeld, Massa, Montoya, Raikkonen, Coulthard, Villeneuve and Panis.

26 min: Jarno Trulli is the last driver to set a time today moving into 15th with a time of 1:18.077. 

26 min: Felipe Massa takes 5th with a time of 1:17.184. Raikkonen takes 7th with a time of 1:17.485 

25 min: Nick Heidfeld moves into 4th with a time of 1:16.996. Villeneuve moves into 7th with a time of 1:17.531 

24 min: Kimi Raikkonen moves into 12th with a time of 1:18.280. 

23 min: Jenson Button moves into 10th with a time of 1:18.070. That is a bit more promising from Renault.

22 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, R Schumacher, Montoya, Coulthard, Panis, Heidfeld, Sato, Massa and Villeneuve.

21 min: Frentzen moves into 10th with a time of 1:18.404. Raikkonen on track.

20 min: Rubens Barrichello improves with a time of 1:16.052. Ralf also improves with a 1:16.938.

19 min: And Michael Schumacher improves again with a time of 1:15.337. He is now 1.682 seconds faster than anyone else!.

18 min: Ralf Schumacher moves into 3rd with a time of 1:17.233. Coulthard moves into 5th with a time of 1:17.492.

17 min: Rubens Barrichello moves into second with a time of 1:17.019. Ralf Schumacher on the track.

16 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Montoya, Panis, de la Rosa, Bernoldi, McNish, Salo, Irvine, Villeneuve and Webber.

15 min: Michael Schumacher improves again with a time of 1:15.815.

13 min: Pedro de la Rosa improves in second with a time of 1:18.505. Montoya on the track.

12 min: Pedro de la Rosa goes fastest with a time of 1:18.733. He lost a lot of time after his engine failed yesterday. 

11 min: Michael Schumacher sets a time of 1:20.145. That is very slow for him! 

10 min: Mark Webber moves into 3rd ahead of his team-mate with a time of 1:20.381. Michael Schumacher on track! 

10 min: Mika Salo goes fastest with a time of 1:19.050. 

9 min: Alex Yoong sets a time of 1:23.043. Mika Salo on a flyer. 

8 min: Mika Salo who was 18th yesterday follows and so does Mark Webber. 

7 min: Alex Yoong returns to the track. He spun early in the second session yesterday but his lap times were encouraging.

6 min: No action on the track now.

4 min: Eddie Irvine sets a time of 1:19.179. Barrichello is out on the track for the first time.

2 min: The cars are now heading back to the pits. Eddie Irvine stays out for a second lap.

The expected temperatures for today and tomorrow are going to be higher than yesterday. That would be welcome by the Michelin runners who closed the gap to Ferrari in the afternoon session yesterday as the temperatures went up. Session starting in 2 minutes
