Final order - Michael Schumacher, Ralf Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, Juan Pablo Montoya, Nick Heidfeld and Felipe Massa make the top 6.
Fisichella, Salo, Coulthard, McNish, Trulli, Raikkonen, Sato, Panis, Irvine, Villeneuve, Frentzen, de la Rosa, Bernoldi, Button, Webber and Yoong.

45 min: Final lap ....Michael fast! ... doesn't improve.

44 min: Mika Salo jumps into 8th while McNish moves into 10th.

44 min: Kimi Raikkonen moves into 11th with a time of 1:16.482 and that is still slower than his best yesterday. Strange!

43 min: Felipe Massa moves into 6th with a time of 1:15.997. Trulli into the top 10!

42 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, R Schumacher, Barrichello, Montoya, Heidfeld, Fisichella, Coulthard, Sato, Raikkonen and Salo.

41 min: Takuma Sato moves into 8th with a time of 1:16.494

40 min: Nick Heidfeld improves in 5th with a time of 1:15.862. Coulthard improves in 7th with a 1:16.206

39 min: Button is back on the track but Barrichello isn't!

38 min: A big jump for Irvine, now in 12th with a time of 1:16.876.

37 min: Now Michael Schumacher responds and improves his time in 1st place with a 1:14.487. He certainly wants to stop Montoya from grabbing Pole today!

36 min: Fisichella improves in 6th place with a time of 1:16.093.

36 min: Montoya improves into 4th with a time of 1:15.472. Not as fast as Ralf.

35 min: A better time from Trulli which moves him up into 14th. His time was a 1:17.044

34 min: Kimi Raikkonen moves into 7th with a time of 1:16.510.

33 min: Montoya on track. He is currently in 4th and 1.2 seconds off the pace.

32 min: We should see time improvements now as the drivers start taking fuel out as they simulate qualifying.

31 min: Alex Yoong is now back outside the 107% time of Michael's!

30 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, R Schumacher, Barrichello, Montoya, Heidfeld, Fisichella, Salo, Coulthard, Panis and Massa.

29 min: Ralf Schumacher takes second from Barrichello with a time of 1:15.154. He is under half a second slower than Michael.

28 min: Jenson Button who suffered an engine failure in the first session has yet to return to the track.

27 min: Eddie Irvine improves his time with a 1:17.848 but remains in 20th!

26 min: Nick Heidfeld retakes 5th from Fisichella with a time of 1:16.061

25 min: Jarno Trulli moves into 17th with a time of 1:17.567. Still too slow for Renault.

24 min: And he improves his time at the top with a 1:14.686. Stunning!

24 min: Michael Schumacher flying!

23 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, Montoya, R Schumacher, Fisichella, Heidfeld, Salo, Coulthard, Panis and Massa.

22 min: Villeneuve improves his time with a 1:16.938 and is in 12th place.

21 min: Kimi Raikkonen moves into 11th with a time of 1:16.828. He is still a lot slower than his best time from yesterday.

20 min: Felipe Massa improves his time with a 1:16.742 and that is good for 10th place.

19 min: Barrichello who spun and damaged his car in the first session has yet to return to the track.

18 min: It is still very tight in the midfield with just over 1.5 seconds separating Heidfeld in 6th and Irvine in 20th!

17 min: Pedro de la Rosa moves up into 17th with a time of 1:17.643. Jaguar are not showing the promise they showed at Magny-Cours.

16 min: Mika Salo moves into 7th with a time of 1:16.626. That is a very good improvement.

15 min: Giancarlo Fisichella moves into 5th place with a time of 1:16.209.

14 min: Jarno Trulli  improves his time but is back in 18th place. Renault were looking for a points finish here!

13 min: Michael Schumacher is on a long run but hasn't improved his time.

11 min: Panis moves into 7th with a time of 1:16.715.

10 min: Not much improvements at this stage. Top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, Montoya, R Schumacher, Heidfeld, Coulthard, Massa, Fisichella, Panis and McNish.

9 min: Nick Heidfeld moves up into 5th ahead of Coulthard with a time of 1:16.561

8 min: And Yoong goes off into the gravel but rejoins the track.

7 min: A number of spins already from Trulli, Bernoldi and Coulthard!

6 min: Mika Salo improves his time but remains in 15th with a time of 1:17.687

5 min: Kimi Raikkonen improves but is in 14th with a time of 1:17.397!

4 min: Allan McNish is the first to improve moving in 10th with a time of 1:17.047. Sato pits as he seems to be having a problem.

2 min: More drivers join in including Montoya, Ralf and Raikkonen.

1 min: Takuma Sato and Jarno Trulli go out on the track.

Session underway but no cars go out straight away.
