Session underway ....

Delayed Start due to fog: Session will start at 12:00 PM local time for half an hour.

Delayed Start due to fog: The safety car is out on the track. That is a good sign!

Delayed Start due to fog: It is 11:30 and still no announcement of when the session will start.

Delayed Start due to fog: It is expected that Williams will be closer to Ferrari here as the power of their BMW units should help on this track. Renault are also expected to do well. Of course for both Williams and Renault to perform well, Michelin needs to provide them with a good tyre.

Delayed Start due to fog: The fog has to also clear from the area where the nearest hospital is and that is why the session continues to be delayed!

Delayed Start due to fog: The sun is starting to appear so the session is expected to start soon.

Delayed Start due to fog: In addition to the Arrows announcement, Toyota surprised us with the news that neither Mika Salo nor Allan McNish will be driving from them next year and that Olivier Panis will be one of their drivers. Mika Salo have since announced that the will be retiring from the sport at the end of the season.

Delayed Start due to fog: No time has been given yet until the start of the session. There is still heavy fog around the outskirts of the track.

The start of the session will be delayed due to the fog as the medical helicopter cannot operate!. A similar situation occurred during Saturday practice last year here!

The Arrows team announced that they will be taking part in the Belgian Grand Prix after a deal was reached with an American investor. Their cars passed scrutineering yesterday and they had Bernoldi and Frentzen as their drivers even though they released Frentzen from his contract. It remains to be seen if they will actually take part in today's sessions and if they do, who will be partnering Bernoldi!. Session starting in 5 minutes

Session starting at 11:00 AM local time. It is foggy with an air temperature of 18 degrees.
