Belgian GP - Warm-up

Final Order: Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen, David Coulthard, Pedro de la Rosa, Rubens Barrichello and Jarno Trulli make the top 6.
Panis, R Schumacher, Villeneuve, Heidfeld, Montoya, Salo, Button, McNish, Massa, Fisichella, Irvine, Davidson and Webber make the rest of the field. Takuma Sato didn't set a time as he went off on his first flying lap.

30 min: Final lap ... Jacques Villeneuve moves into 8th and Heidfeld takes 9th. Ralf Schumacher takes 8th from Villeneuve. David Coulthard moves into 3rd.

29 min: Pedro de la Rosa moves into 3rd with a time of 1:49.202. He must be on a light fuel load!

28 min: And Michael Schumacher responds with a 1:48.044 increasing the gap to Raikkonen to almost a second!

27 min: Kimi Raikkonen takes second from Barrichello with a 1:49.003. He is still over 0.6 seconds behind Michael!

26 min: Juan Pablo Montoya moves into 6th with a time of 1:50.364.

25 min: Pedro de la Rosa who was 12th jumps into 4th place with a time of 1:49.558.

24 min: Rubens Barrichello takes second from Trulli with a time of 1:49.403. He is still just under a second slower than Michael!

23 min: Jarno Trulli jumps into second on his first timed lap with a time of 1:49.802. Could Renault be planning a lighter fuel load for the race ?

22 min: Anthony Davidson improves his time but remains in 18th with a time of 1:52.749.

21 min: Michael Schumacher's time is over 1.7 seconds ahead of Kimi Raikkonen. The Michelins don't appear to be working as well under these colder conditions.

20 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Raikkonen, Panis, Coulthard, Button, Massa, Barrichello, Salo, Montoya and de la Rosa.

19 min: All the drivers with the exception of Sato and Trulli have set times this session.

18 min: Michael Schumacher moves to the top of the timesheets with a time of 1:48.418. Panis moves into 3rd with a time of 1:50.415.

17 min: Felipe Massa moves into 4th with a time of 1:50.896. Michael on another flyer now!

16 min: Michael Schumacher had to abort his lap following Sato. His time was a 1:53.240 in 16th.

16 min: Takuma Sato goes off and hits the barriers!

15 min: Top 10 - Raikkonen Coulthard, Button, Barrichello, Montoya, de la Rosa, R Schumacher, McNish, Panis and Irvine.

15 min: Coulthard moves into second with a time of 1:50.464.

14 min: Juan Pablo Montoya improves into 4th with a time of 1:51.400.

13 min: Kimi Raikkonen now moves to the top of the timesheets with a time of 1:50.192. Button moves into second with a 1:50.610 and Rubens Barrichello is in 3rd with a 1:51.103.

12 min: Allan McNish goes fastest with a time of 1:51.708. Nick Heidfeld moves into second with a time of 1:51.941.

11 min: Juan Pablo Montoya goes fastest with a time of 1:52.221. Raikkonen back on the track for a longer run.

10 min: Anthony Davidson sets time of 1:54.311. Takuma Sato and Nick Heidfeld are also in timed laps.

8 min: Anthony Davidson will be the first out on a timed lap.

6 min: More drivers go back out onto the track. No flying laps yet though!

5 min: Rubens Barrichello who has the Ferrari spare is also out onto the track. Ferrari want to provide all the help they can to Rubens in order to secure second in the Drivers' championship.

4 min: Kimi Raikkonen, Mark Webber and Mika Salo are back on the track in their spare cars!

3 min: Drivers that have a spare car allocated will now take it for a shakedown.

2 min: The cars are now making their was back to the pits after their installation lap. Panis goes out onto the track now.

1 min: All the cars have made it onto the track except Michael Schumacher and Olivier Panis.

Session underway ... the cars stream out of the pit lane onto the track with Mark Webber heading the field

Michael Schumacher qualified on Pole yesterday ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Rubens Barrichello. Ralf Schumacher, Juan Pablo Montoya and David Coulthard make the top 6. The Michelin runners had an advantage yesterday over the Bridgestone runners. It will be interesting to see how they shape today in race trim. Session starting in 5 minutes
