In the practice sessions yesterday, Kimi Raikkonen set the fastest time ahead of team-mate David Coulthard. Their pace was much faster than the rest that it is likely that they were running on low fuel loads. Rubens Barrichello was 3rd fastest with Juan Pablo Montoya and Ralf Schumacher in 4th and 5th. Michael Schumacher only managed 6th fastest after losing most of the second session due to a hydraulic problem.
There were 2 big crashes yesterday involving Jacques Villeneuve in the first session and Juan Pablo Montoya in the second. Both drivers were unhurt. Session starting in 5 minutes.

Session starting at 9:00 AM local time. It is partly cloudy with an air temperature of 18 degrees.
