Rosberg on Pole with a 1:19.965 from Hamilton (+0.143), Ricciardo (+0.315), Verstappen (+0.592), Vettel (+0.909), Sainz (+1.166), Alonso (+1.246), Button (+1.632), Hulkenberg (+1.858) & Bottas (+2.217)
Hamilton looked set to improve his time on the final run but Alonso spun in front of him and had to abort. Rosberg didn’t seem to be affected and went on to improve his time and take Pole however on replay it shows that he may have ignored the yellow flags.
Knocked out of Q2: Grosjean, Kvyat, Perez, Raikkonen, Gutierrez and Nasr.
The track was drying quickly and it was thrilling to see the times tumble. Unfortunately for Raikkonen, he was caught out with the timing of his final run
Knocked out of Q1: Palmer, Massa, Magnussen, Ericsson, Wehrlein and Haryanto.
The session was delayed due to wet conditions and interrupted due to multiple crashes
