Magny Cours is always a good race as it seems to be more of a drivers track than a car specific track, though I suppose the tyres still have to grip the track. So being a drivers track it should be a race between the 3 quickest being MS, KR and JPM though old Ralphy is doing darn well at the moment.
As you say when the car is easier to drive and the car is good things even up a bit. I don't think the Renault's are too underpowered as it looked like they where handling like barges in Germany and they still had some speed, the brakes obviously work well ask DC. 
I've actually backed against MS in the 8 'n' pole show and picked JPM for the pole and the win with RS and KR behind, don't know why but I'll probably get bit in the ass for it. JPM's run of poles last year may be a factor. 
Yes the Williams are definitely coming on a bit and lots of wing and HP dictate some towards this end of the season, they look strong. 
Ferrari look strong but Bridgestone don't, Hisao Tsuganami [spelling?] has his work cut out. McLaren must suffer from lack of development during the testing ban coming up. Kimi has his work cut out. 
Renault look on the verge, and it is in France so anything is possible. 
Of the rest I'd say Mr Webber might put on a good show, Button might do enough to make Villeneuve look stoopid again. Best regards Cooky  - Australia (Reference Heretic 5-11 - Can Bridgestone bridge the gap?)

Yep, Ferrari are in trouble.

I wonder if JPM will make pole? He certainly has the skill but if the car is well balanced and works well it appears that the logical German has the edge. Bit like Peter Perfect was in your patch.

I am amazed that McLaren are not suffering from the late development of their new car. They must be using most, if not all, their new car�s go faster bits to give Kimi a shot at keeping current in the championship. He on the other hand also seems to have the ability to make the difference - compare him with DC.

As far as Webber is concerned, I can�t wait to see what he is capable of when Jaguar finally get their act together. Villeneuve is like Montoya, he is best when the car is almost undriveable (if there is such a word), Button is probable more like Ralf � he needs the car to work well.
