The 2006 8 'n' Pole competition was won by JD in a close fight with Silverfox. Check out the results of the competition here.

The 8 'n' Pole Competition returns for the 2007 Formula 1 Season in the same format and the nearly the same prizes as in 2006.
In addition to the major prizes, all the players in the overall top 20 will win prizes as well as the winner of every round.
In addition, the player with highest score in a round and the player with the biggest winning margin in a round will also win additional prizes.

There is also a prize for the perfect pick. If a player picks the top 8 finishers as well as pole in the exact order, they win a 100 British Pounds Gift Certificate from BookF1).

You can register now. Once registered, you can submit your picks for any race of the season at any time as long as you place your picks before the event starts.

8 'n' Pole is an exciting competition where you get to pick the top 8 finishers for each Grand Prix in addition to the Pole setter.

Registering before the start of the season will maximise your chances of winning the overall competition. However, you can still register during the season and attempt to maximise your score per race as the winner from each race wins a prize. You can also win in the categories of highest score in a round and biggest winning margin in a round.

The way the competition works is simple. During the week before a Grand Prix, you will receive a "Call for Picks" email. Before the start of the first Friday Practice session, you'll need to place your picks. You can submit your picks at any time prior to this deadline.
You will receive an email confirmation of your picks. Following the race you will receive an email with your score and your ranking both for the race and overall in the competition. Click here to learn about the rules and scoring.

If you have a group of friends, you can create a group and ask them to join. Results for the group will be sent to each member.

In 2005 we've launched NewsOnF1 Forums with a forum dedicated to the 8 'n' Pole competition. There you can discuss with other players of the competition your picks, your results and anything else you'd like to talk about. You can automatically be registered in the Forum simply by checking the box in the 8 'n' Pole registration form.
