Juan Pablo Montoya wins the Brazilian Grand Prix for the second time in a row. Kimi Raikkonen finishes second while Fernando Alonso
who started from Pole finishes 3rd and wins his first Drivers' Title. Michael Schumacher was 4th ahead of Giancarlo Fisichella and
Rubens Barrichello. It was the first McLaren 1-2 in 5 years and they led the Constructors' Championship by 2 points with 2 races
remaining. At the start Coulthard and Pizzonia tangled with Pizzonia collecting Webber. The safety car was deployed. 15 cars
were classified as finishers with McLaren, Renault, Ferrari, BAR Honda, Toyota and Sauber finishing both cars. Williams failed to
finish either of their cars.
Juan Pablo Montoya wins the only race this season for Williams ahead of Kimi Raikkonen with Barrichello finishing the race and
making the podium after so many years of retirements! Alonso, Ralf Schumacher, Sato, Michael Schumacher and Massa make the top 8.
The track was wet at the start although a few drivers gambled with dry tyres hoping the track would dry quickly. A lot of
interesting fights early in the race as the track was drying but it settled down once the track dried and Montoya and Raikkonen were
fighting for the win. Button retired with a blow engine early in the race. In the last race for Jaguar, Webber and Klien
tangle and Webber retires. 17 cars were classified as finishers with Williams, McLaren, Ferrari, Renault, Sauber, Toyota and
Minardi finishing both cars.
