The 2009 8 'n' Pole competition was won by Charles J Moscato ahead of DGB and lightfoot. Check out the results of the competition here.

As the points system now awards points to the top 10 finishers, we will do the same in the competition and thus change its name from 8 'n' Pole to 10 'n' Pole.

Apart from selecting two additional drivers, all the other rules in the competition remains the same but we are giving away bigger prizes this year.
The top 5 win major prizes, all the players in the overall top 20 also win prizes as well as the winner of every round.
In addition, the player with highest score in a round and the player with the biggest winning margin in a round will also win additional prizes.

There is also a prize for the perfect pick. If a player picks the top 10 finishers in the exact order as well as the pole setter, they win a 150 Euro Gift Certificate from NewsOnF1 to be used towards a Formula 1 ticket).

You can register now. Once registered, you can submit your picks for any race of the season at any time as long as you place your picks before the event starts.

10 'n' Pole is an exciting competition where you get to pick the top 10 finishers for each Grand Prix in addition to the Pole setter.

Registering before the start of the season will maximise your chances of winning the overall competition. However, you can still register during the season and attempt to maximise your score per race as the winner from each race wins a prize. You can also win in the categories of highest score in a round and biggest winning margin in a round.

The way the competition works is simple. During the week before a Grand Prix, you will receive a "Call for Picks" email. Before the start of the first Friday Practice session, you'll need to place your picks. You can submit your picks at any time prior to this deadline.
You will receive an email confirmation of your picks. Following the race you will receive an email with your score and your ranking both for the race and overall in the competition. Click here to learn about the rules and scoring.

If you have a group of friends, you can create a group and ask them to join. Results for the group will be sent to each member.

You can check out the  10 'n' Pole forum dedicated to the competition. There you can discuss with other players of the competition your picks, your results and anything else you'd like to talk about. You can automatically be registered in the Forum simply by checking the box in the 10 'n' Pole registration form.
