Second Saturday Practice Session Report - Results

Michael Schumacher remained at the top of the timesheets this session despite not improving his time from the first session. Kimi Raikkonen managed to move into second ahead of Rubens Barrichello. Nick Heidfeld was 4th ahead of Ralf Schumacher and Mika Salo.
Coulthard only managed 7th fastest with Montoya struggling in 8th ahead of the Renault pair of Trulli and Button to make the top 10.

Minardi's Mark Webber is worth a mention as he set the 14th fastest time of the session with a stunning time of 1:33.146. Lets see if he can go even further in qualifying.

Pedro de la Rosa had more problems as his car stopped on the track following his first flying lap ending his session. No other drivers had major problems during the session.

Juan Pablo Montoya covered the most number of laps with 23 followed by his team-mate Ralf Schumacher with 20 and Alex Yoong with 18 laps. Pedro de la Rosa only managed 3 laps.
Overall (both sessions), Montoya covered the most number of laps with 37.

So heading into the Qualifying session, Michael Schumacher seems untouchable while it looks to be an interesting fight between Barrichello, the 2 Williams and possibly a McLaren and a Sauber for the front rows.
In the midfield it will be very tight as 11th placed Massa and 17th placed Panis are only separated by half a second.

Qualifying starts at 12:15 PM local time (note the change in time). Our coverage starts here at 12:00 PM
