Second Saturday Practice Session Report - Results

Michael Schumacher remained at the top of the timesheets despite not improving his time in this session. Ralf Schumacher was second fastest and just 0.255 seconds off Michael's time. Kimi Raikkonen managed to improve on his time from yesterday and moved into 3rd ahead of Juan Pablo Montoya and David Coulthard. Rubens Barrichello was 6th fastest after he too failed to improve on his time from the first session.
A big gap of over 0.7 seconds separates Rubens Barrichello in 6th and Eddie Irvine in 7th but behind Irvine it is pretty tight with under a second separating 7th and 15th.

Both Panis and Webber had problems during the session and had their running time cut short. A number of drivers went wide during the session but none had any problems recovering from the situation.

Allan McNish trying to make up for lost time from the first session covered the most number of laps with 15 while Olivier Panis only managed 7 laps.

Overall, Alex Yoong covered the most number of laps with 25 while Felipe Massa covered the least with 17.

With just 0.7 seconds separating the top 6, we might have a close qualifying session. That is if Ferrari really couldn't improve in this session.

Qualifying starts at 1:00 PM local time. Our coverage starts at 12:45 PM local time
